will put some thought to it

Shockingly I have to do some actual work this afternoon but I'll have a think and try to collar you next time I see you online.

Horfield would be a safe bet out of that list for houses as it's a pretty good all rounder for residential housing. Some nice bits but no obvious bad bits. Should be ok for Parkway via bus - do I recall you saying you'd be based at UWE's campus?

Montpellier is supposed to be nice but I don't know what the housing is like. I think it has a bit of a 'bohemian' vibe. You'd want to steer clear of the St Paul's side if possible. Montpelier would be a better bet for living closer to nightlife, restaurants and shopping etc. You're not massively far from Horfield though.

Filton doesn't seem to be the most attractive of places and I think you'd be a bit stuck out on a limb, not being particularly close to anything. Driving/public transport within Bristol can be slow. It ought to be convenient for commuting though.

As a Bath resident I'd obviously say Bath is far better :-) You'd want to be looking at Oldfield Park if you were needing the rail link. For driving, you'd want to be on the east side of the city so that you could do the A46-M4-M32 route.

A lot depends on if you're renting/buying, single/family, driving/reliant on public transport etc.
