How would you assess Martin's qualities as a 'vocal' captain when things are not going quite so well?
I was at the Brentford game as well as a number of others and the way that players all looked at each other after conceding was frankly quite shocking.
I don't think Martin is well placed to make subtle digs or comments about a man who has given his heart and soul to Norwich City Football Club.
His ability to 'front up' the press is undoubtedly the best part of his game.
Lets please get off Adams' back and accept that players are fickle creatures and for one reason or another it didn't work with Adams. Maybe they knew him too well as a coach and in too friendly a way on the training ground to respect him as a manager.
That doesn't in any way detract from how well think AN is doing and the fact that his simple approach to letting everyone know their role and what is expected of them seems to be paying dividends.
I hope the players go into Sunday remembering that things can change very quickly and that they will need real guile to overcome a team which will almost certainly set up for a draw.
