Correct me if I'm wrong

but the doubters regarding Martin is mainly down to his abilities. I can't imagine there has been a general opinion that he doesn't care, but at times, his performances has not been good enough.

I think the turnaround in his performances is partly down to the return of Bassong in fine shape, which takes a lot of pressure off Martin.
