I didn't watch any as i'm not that fussed, does that count? Can't really boycott something

i didn't plan to watch anyway can I? or can I?
Do I have to state I'm boycotting something for the avoidance of doubt in case I decide to boycott something years later, when I'm older and perhaps more aware of wider considerations?

Or are we living in a world where if we take (or do not take) a certain stance once we have to apply that same stance ever after with no ability to change?
