To be fair, probably was dried out originally so never fresh for the reasons mentioned

before. I don't know. I just know the taste is sensational if freshly made !

Bit like Pizza. I remember residents of Napoli trying to get it written in law that anything with more than tomato and cheese on top should have a different name, since the original pizza had only those toppings...
