Seriously though. Do you really need i7 ? In 99% of cases i5 is perfectly good enough...

I looked at a lot of benchmarking on this when deciding between i7 and i5 for my Haswell MacBook Air.

In the end I was never going to use anything which the i7 would help me with above the i5, and an i7 simply uses more power meaning only about 10 hrs battery life as opposed to 12 (in reality it is more like 15 since Mavericks and Yosemite).

You need to do some serious processing for the i7 to make much difference and the price differential is quite considerable.
