Bits of Alex Neil press conferences that are really interesting but not reported Part IX

AN references Watford's unique tactics early on in the conference, and he is then pressed to expand on that later on. His response (paraphrased):

"They play 3-5-2, or a sort of 4-4-2 diamond. Certainly the 3-5-2 is not a shape you come across often in Britain - I think it's only really Livingston that play that in the UK... and [broad grin] we did quite well against that [with Hamilton]. The challenge is they try and flood the middle of the park, they're technically good in the middle, drop off and try and make the pitch big."

And on the suggestion that Ighalo is in great form: "[broad grin] well, we'll see how well he does tomorrow... I'll judge their players based on what they do against us, and I'm hoping that, with the guys we have available, we can limit [their good players] as much as possible."

Brilliant. Love it. And finally Canaries Player is offering something for the money...
