there won't be, for example, severe consequences in the long term from not going up this season (or even next season). Our average position (based on size, history and potential) is probably somewhere in the top 5-10 of the Championship. In the long term, there are no signs to suggest that we will significantly deviate from that - regardless of whether or not we get promoted in the next couple of seasons. We have periods of ups or downs, but that is about the average of where we have been in the last 40 years, and probably will be in the future.
