I don't really get that excited about the draft other than last year when

two of our Dutch kids were eligible (neither were drafted, both picked up within one hour of the draft ending, both injured in the 3rd pre-season game...).

But from what I read it depends on who drafts them and how their offensive co-ordinator can implement an offense using them.

Mariota is a spread option QB. He has to play in a system like Russell Wilson at the Seahawks or Cam Newton at the Panthers, and not one like Manning at the Broncos or Brady at New England. If he gets the right offensive co-ordinator and offensive team mates who can run parts of the spread option, he could have a great career. Only risk with that style of QB is that they often become injury prone, especially as they age.

Winston has downside (off-field issues). Again, might be great if he gets a coach who can handle him from the start and get him on the straight and narrow. But unless that happens and quick I think he will not have a long career. He might even burst onto the scene, but without growing up he's gonna f**k up somewhere along the line.
