Clearly demand does justify the price as the stadium is full.

When demand wanes, prices will fall. There's no doubt we could end up where we used to be, but I think we could end up there regardless of current prices. The number of season ticket holders we have drives our ability to charge premium prices for the remaining seats. It is only when season ticket numbers fall that the club will be forced to think about dropping prices on the basis of economics.

The key point under discussion is whether something bigger should be done across the whole of football to reduce the expense. Are crowd numbers falling? I don't know the answer to that.
