For the clubs . fans coming to the ground are actually an expensive nuisance , staff to get them through the turnstiles , Police and Stewarding , all the other service staff on the day , stadium to maintain , and having to pay Anglian Water to dispose of 10,000 pints of widdle every match . It all adds up . In 10 years time we will have virtual stadia , interactive computer-generated crowds , and we will all sit at home in the warm wearing our helmets , and watch the games like that .
