NO-ONE is expecting Villa to be better than Saints - we are talking about relative performance compared to last season here i.e. improvement (something you are singularly failing to comprehend).

If you sell more valuable players tha you buy it should clearly be harder to IMPROVE (not play) than if you buy in more valuable players than you sell.

The value of Saints' squad is lower than last season (by your own figures) while Villa's is higher. Yet Saints have got better while Villa have got worse.

Shouldn't be rocket science even for you.
