I do think his chances are going to be limited here. OK, over the summer we will

certainly not keep all the midfielders we have now. Let's be honest right now he has so many ahead of him - Johnson, Tettey, Howson, Wes, Redmond, Bennett, Odjidja-Ofoe, O'Neil, Andreu, Murphy and probably even McGrandles. Then there's that 'tother Murphy and the kid at Swindon who we've loaned back to them.

Would be a shame to miss out on another home grown but that's the way it's looking. I can imagine we might let Wes and perhaps Bennett and one of the Murphs go voluntarily but I think the rest would only go if we got big bids for them. And in that case I'm pretty sure we'd end up buying to replace. I think that would happen regardless of the division we find ourselves in.

Shame. Like Korey Smith and Adeyemi (although at least both of those did get somewhat of a chance at the first team.
