German place. Hereford was like a big family place although even though I was only 11ish, there was RAF and Army people there, or that's how I remember. High Wycombe though was awesome and they had three bars, or naffi's I suppose. Think for officers and warrant officers and junior officers, or something, but my point being is they had a snooker table so I'd just do that for hours whilst Dad and Uncle bob and Untie Lyn drank. My bro's were 16/17ish and were happily out drinking in Norwich, which dad knew but there - No way with Uncle Bob, so they used to get very very bored and go back to the house and listen to music. Free snooker at that age, jubbly. :) But, in the day, free 5-aside footy and badminton and squash and basketball (which isn't a sport to me) and ping pong, just awesome in those old hangers. Fab days as a kid, my fave days. :)
