Politicians will NEVER alter the tax laws to the extent

where they can't ever benefit from schemes in the avoidance of taxes. Avoidance schemes, to all intents and purposes, are an incentive to declare and pay your dues with integrity and honesty. Sadly those last two words have mostly been eroded and lost in modern society.

Every single person alive wants to keep as much of their money as they can. It's just the scales that are the issue.
