Hmmm - the Lake District is very peaky

That's kinda the point.

I've done both and the Peak District is lovely. However the Lake District is out of this world beauty.

Fantastic walks, climbs, pubs, views - the lot.

But it's six/seven hours away from norfolk whereas the Peak District is three.
