if you spend minimal money on a squad threatened

by relegation the previous 5+ seasons, eventually you will get relegated. Especially in a premier league where teams are all investing heavily. I think it's far too easy to blame the manager and the idea he's been "found out" is nonsense. He just doesn't have a good enough team.
