You're worth. It's just that he understands that better than maybe any manager in history.
Is it sad when a few individuals (eg. Frisk) get caught up in that game? Yes, of course. But that's also life: life's a lottery. We could all get caught in the wrong place at the wrong time if we're really unlucky.
As it is, Mourinho is great for the game because he is such massive box office. Every single thing he says (or very often, does) has a point to it; and he does the media's work for it, which is why they - the English media, at least - love him.
Sit back, enjoy it, but don't take him seriously. He's just another character playing the game.
