OK, to both questions...

Why don't we play the kids ?

a) Because we've just won 5 on the spin.

b) Because perhaps they're not ready for the large difference between being on the bench and starting a game.

c) Because at the first mistake they'd get hounded - just like Henderson.

Why have we a small squad at the minute ?

d) Because with Leon, Hughes, Marney, Shackell, MLJ, Ryan Jarvis all out, we hade a small squad through December.

e) Because, perhaps Worthington was given a squad size at the start of the season by the board that he had to stick to. And the only way he could amend that was through loans. And now the window has reopened, the board have re-appraised that headcount, and will allow him to add to the squad. That's just like Norwich Union. Some director gets a big fat five figure bonus each year for getting the headcount to a certain figure. They then bring in contractors and temps to do the same work.

f) Because Norwich isn't actually that attractive a place to come for many.
