Yes the role of Saudi in particular disturbs me greatly

We seem tied so closely to them, despite the fact that they almost certainly funded 9/11, and certainly promote the corrosive Wahhabi form of Islam which corrupts Sunni Islam to extreme levels. Cameron said we got warning from them about major terrorist attacks, which justifies our closeness. But it makes me very uneasy.

I was in North Africa last summer, and Sunnis and Shia lived very happily side by side there. In the same way as most Protestants don't hate most Catholics and vice versa, the problems only come at the extremes. I worry that Saudi is driving those extremes and that we're in bed with them.
