Interesting. re the English bit of that...

...a Jewish bloke I was chatting to the other day was talking about how much he worries about anti-semitism now, and how for the first time he doesn't feel completely safe here.

Made me stop and think. Is there really much anti-semitism around in the UK? Where on earth does that come from? Why?

Don't think I was even aware of it when I was growing up in the 70s / 80s (whereas there was plenty of other forms of racism around - as people have said on here before, I well remember those "Trigger Trigger Trigger..." chants at Carrow Road, for example...)
