If they go up, then I agree it is very unfair.

However, if they miss out, then if I were warburton I'd be quite happy for the chairman to fire me. It's never going to get better than that at Brentwood on their budget. This is their chance.

If he is sacked he'll get a job at another championship club with a bigger budget no problem - a team like Sheffield Wednesday or charlton. If he stays and cant match this seasons exploits he will leave and depending on when it is, might have to drop right back down again. See Gary Johnson and Nigel worthington.
