Or watching movies. And when I arrived, and realised how few English teachers could even pronounce English correctly (because they'd been taught by non-native speakers, and it's like a cycle that continues), it was a bit of a shock.

I often feel very very privileged. We're so lucky to speak the lingua franca and come from a country which has so much respect all over the world. We'll always be in demand in a continent like this.
