One of my neighbours has a cherry tree which in the last 3 years has grown, in laymans terms, massive.
It affects myself, and 2 other neighbours, by blocking sunlight for large portions of the day (mainly summer)
I, and another neighbour, did mention this to neighbour a year or so ago, but nowt happened.
Now, with all the blossom and leaves off the trees it seems an opportune time to cut this bastard down to size.
However, I've called round the last 2 weekends but no body is answering the door. The cars there, and I'm pretty sure they haven't died, so whats my next step?
Try and have a chat with them, or can I simply ping an email to the Council and they'll sort things? (AS IF!)
Whats my legal footing here pls?
Any advice appreciated?
