Any Windows 8 nerds about? Tech issue.
Son's laptop has started being a bastard. It's an Acer, running Windows 8. Last night it gave him an error message saying it needed restarting and he did. It wouldn't start up so he had the option to refresh (his words) which he did. It then started up but without applications. This morning it wouldn't restart, and on the screen the only thing visible was the cursor. Task manager could be accessed but nothing else.
Will he (I) have to get a Windows disc?
