Those lamps are s**t

Seriously. They have loads of problems with their pitch, and it gets waterlogged easily. It's meant to make the grass grow quicker. A couple of years back they were meant to put in a Deso pitch (high-tech, combination of grass and high grade fake grass) but instead gave their manager the cash to buy players. Massive waste of cash, given that the players were s**t and they didn't go up.

I know these things as my folks live in Sheffield, and he's had some dealings with United (long story). I can also confirm that the seats in the directors box are next level comfortable.
