Yeah been going for years. That's kind of what I was referring to. We would sometimes do

it for a laugh if we knew a colleague was maintaining it.

Or create entire obfuscated code segments which resolved to TRUE.

My favourite, as it had no effect on performance, was to use the pre-processor directives to #DEFINE large chunks of code then effectively hide them within seemingly clear, concise, short functions.

Was mainly during the junior days when mostly bug fixing and completely academically bored... When you're building your own baby you tend to be a bit more responsible :)

Fuck, if any of my guys did that these days they'd get a right old slapping.
