He has played for Ireland as one of a midfield two but yes I agree

he is best as the advanced one in a midfield 3. We could have played that on Saturday whether it still meant Whitaker playing next to Johnson or we had Bennett there.

I think that would have given us more composure in the midfield area as well as closing down that f**king great hole down the middle that they exploited at will.
