We spend a pretty hefty percentage of our wages on going to football and if you feel that the men who you have paid to entertain you, don't deliver, booing is the easiest way to voice your displeasure. Booing is nothing really. In Italy they have things thrown at them. In Argentina they are beaten up when they get back to their cars. In Brazil they are kidnapped.
