Our problems this season...

1) Squad is good but too many mediocre players in some positions (CBs) and not enough in others (flanks).
2) no consistent formation, particularly affecting the defence.
3) not knowing how to play Redmond, Hooper or Wes in any of those systems.
4) fans expectations are (possibly unrealistically) high, transmitting increased pressure on players and management. We generally do well as a club when expectations are low.
5) a catalogue of poor or unfortunate decisions management (Joe Royle, Phelan as well as NA).
