Just a story on the Mail saying he's lost his job "with immediate effect" and is being

replaced by Mark Pougatch.

I wonder if the penny has dropped with ITV executives that they don;t need to pay someone ?4.5m a year to present a programme that fans would watch regardless of who the presenter is. Can probably employ a proper journalist on about 5% of the cost.

BBC should do the same with Lineker. His salary is obscene - same with the rest of the MOTD pundits.
