Like all of you I hope beyond hope that Alex and his team

are succesful because the shift of faith on here over Phelan is incredible. When he joined he was held up as the missing link and his experience was invaluable etc. A few games later, a couple of poor results, and apparently he was rubbish and as bigger liability as Adams. Indeed I'm led to believe by Highlander that he could tell just by looking at him that he didn't even want to be at Carrow Road! Bottom line is, he was the only one with any real experience of coaching at the highest level of British football. I suspect his mood changed when he knew he wouldn't be given a crack as manager but obviously we'll never know for certain and of course he may not be management material. It just amazes me how quickly someone goes from saint to sinner and unfortunately that too could happen to the new management team. Hopefully they'll be given the time they deserve to get it right but I fear for them if they have a run of poor results.
