I've got a tablet. It fits in the jacket pocket nicely

you can take it out and use it and then put it back again when you've finished. it's that versatile. it also works off of re-chargable batteries which means that you don't need a massive f**k off extension lead when embarking on long trips. not sure about an ipad mini sorry.
