NTL e-mail help please!....

I had a work e-mail account set up for me.. the password was a long list of random numbers which I got my computer to 'remember' for me when I logged in. I haven't used it over Christmas & have just tried to log in, but it seems my computer has now forgotten to remember (are you following?) the password! I tried the 'forgot your password' thing.. & it says 'enter your ntl e-mail address & we'll send it to - WTF good is that if I can't get into my account?! Aaaggh!! Any ideas anyone??..
