The great thing about tonight was the sense that we are still at least on a par with scum

The idea that from nothing, McCarthy has somehow fashioned a side similar to the Burnleys or Leicesters of the past few seasons is a nonsense.
They were absolutely woeful tonight and the BBC went out of their way to make it sound like a contest. Embarrassing in the extreme for them in front of a 'full-house' (which bit of full house don't they understand)
I can see them falling away if they don't win at Millwall and behind us on points after the CR meeting.
Happy days, given that all seemed so bleak a fortnight ago and we seemed a distant second to them.
