When I worked for Prudential's actuarial team we would occasionally get some smart arse

asking us to cost a deflationary risk into annuity. We gladly did so, and pretty much took it all as profit. Now you'd be lucky to find anyone offering such protection at any cost.

Historical lows mean f**k all, there were previous historical lows before the current one..
