I don't think Worthy particularly wants to play hoofball (i too like it!), but to be honest he is doing because of his situation.
Lets be honest here, who remembers the beautiful and yet totally ineffective attractive passing game we had in the past, before Worthy? Well we managed to win sod all and skate near to relegation.
I think he is safe guarding his job. He is doing what needs to be done to get the wins and take the pressure off. I'm not saying he's right, but he's playing safe. Route one to a player like Ashton may well pay off some of the time, and lets be honest, what manager wouldn't play it some of the time if they thought they'd get a few goals/wins when maybe they wouldn't by not playing it?
