forget the win, the thing that changed my opinion was that this relatively young and inexperienced manager was shrewd enough to do his due diligence on us and in the most skillful of ways; he put it out in the scottish press that he wouldn't be scuttling off to england to be part of a management committee.
if he was to jump ship and go to england it would be on his terms, he would be his own boss. he must have known the constraints neil adams operated under and how this could potentially undermine the relationship with senior pro's not much younger than him. So he put it on record, nobody would be under any doubt who the gaffer was. in that one move he dealt with players, fans, the board and media and cleared the way for him to get on with business his way. not saying he's going to get us auto promotion but we've a much better chance now i think based on what i've seen so far.
