i understand your point

I'm not one of these that say "don't sign X, why not buy Y" since there's no point ie Koumas as we just don't know how possible it is to sign any players. (a) They prob won't want to come, (b) they prob aren't as good as we think (c) they might be too expensive/high wages etc.

The point is, WHY dick? Surely the deal was agreed all along and it wasn't done after seeing his 4 games as this boy is truely shocking on the evidence of his 4.5 games or whatever it is.
