Look, I don't think you have carte blanche to say whatever you want just because it's online. You go racist/homophobic/otherwise abusive and you deserve what's coming for you.

However a criminal record for causing offence - for instance in the case of the idiot kid tweeting about the glasgow lorry crash - is a different matter.
