The trouble is, if you call him Neil, it makes me think of Neyul.

Just calling him 'Alex' seems a bit too familiar at the moment while 'Alex Neil' sounds a bit too distant.

I suspect calling him 'Sir Alex' is a bit of a Wroth fad - like when we had 5 1 in our names and it will die out but for the moment, I think it's fun!
