If it does - and I doubt it will, I think he's forcing them to give him what he wants

A la Nigel Worthington at least twice early in his time here - but if it does go wrong, we'll have our answer as to why we didn't appoint a proven, credible manager in the first place.

And in that scenario, McNally would have no place to run, no place to hide.
