I would suggest he was a very obvious candidate.

No-one on this board flagged him, and yet after looking at his record only a few are expressing doubt.

I would also suggest that none of our Board were involved in identifying him initially. Do you think McNally or Bowkett attend SPL games? It is far more likely that Gary Holt flagged him as one to watch; or one of our scouts (who have said to have watched Hamilton multiple times this season) pitched-in.
