so the academy head, CEO and chief scout were supposed to be the experienced technical board that would be guiding Adams and sense checking decisions such as whether two captains were appropriate?
It's basically a fig leaf to make sure McNally gets a veto on stuff then, isn't it?
I wonder if other clubs are much different in practice though - would many clubs sanction a player purchase that the chief scout thought was crap and the CEO thought was too expensive?
