As far as I can tell this guy was never claiming the righteous word of god.
He was not saying, if you don't let me splash a small amount of water on your babies head, then this baby is going to burn in hell for eternity.
He was not calling on people to join his cause in righteousness.
He did not extract money from supporters to further his cause.
He was not indoctrinating young children and adults alike to follow his cause, or face the consequences.
