there's always a large element of chance

Lambert, Walker etc etc. After all, who would be the "no gamble" established, invariably successful man who'd take over? Hoots had a v good record ....? Eddie Howe had managed nobody before Bournemouth (except their youth team). We really will have to give whoever it is a bloody chance before starting to bleat.
