What makes Sherwood a clown?

Liverpool beat Tottenham 4-0 at Anfield last March. They'd already beaten them 5-0 at WHL in AVB's last match. After the 4-0, Sherwood was interviewed by Sky:

Interviewer: "You were an onlooker the day Liverpool won 5-0 at White Hart Lane. What have you learned from watching that back?"

Sherwood: "I haven't watched it back, to be honest - I'm too scared to. It's not about watching it back, it's in the past."

That's the manager of a club supposedly trying to get into the Champions League publicly admitting that he'd not even bothered watching the 5-0 humiliation of his side by a rival club. And as he'd not even bothered watching it, how did he prepare his players for the game? What were his instructions? "Never mind the league leaders - let them worry about us"?

The guy's such a clown, he thinks tactics are irrelevant, and planning is irrelevant. He doesn't believe in long term plans and has publicly stated so. And gimmicks like putting a fan in the dugout for half an hour or whatever it was are all part of the same thing: he knows the English football media like "characters", "cheeky chappies" and so on, so he plays up to it, and suckers them and alarming numbers of others.

He's all about himself. Not his players, not his club; himself. Selfish arsehole as a player, selfish arsehole as a manager too - with added lack of intelligence or tactical understanding thrown in for good measure.
