And nobody has told me what the football board does, and why it's so bad at our club. Only that it is bad at our club.

Until I can be convinced of that I'm just not confident enough to rule it out as op another one of those football truisms - football director doesn't work, referees are biased, harder to play against 10/11 men (delete as appropriate), coach is just a balls, bibs and cones man/ the most important man at the club(delete as appropriate)
