well, the original point was you'd pissed up the lampost of cheese on toast by cheating

which in my book is out of order. there's a reason cheese on toast has stood the test of time and that is that the basic rules remain unbreakable, the cheese must be toasted on proper bread. not slightly melted between the thighs of faux cakelike weird stuff. that, is not cheese on toast. disrespect the classics at your peril.
