It was the inspired (or lucky) appointment of Lambert and the subsequent promotions which brought about financial stability.
Choosing managers has been a problem for lots of clubs, if we're honest, but there are few Boards who could match ours for bad choices - Grant, Roeder, Gunn, Adams
were all terrible decisions. Hughton not so - I think most of us thought that was a good one.
